Mother’s Day Explosion Box

Hi all,

Have you people celebrated Mother’s Day with your mom? I am sure you did. Do you know Mother’s day was first celebrated in 1908 in United States of America. It is normally celebrated on second Sunday of the month of May.

Lets celebrate this mother’s day by making some craft that our mother’s would love to own…..

I made this for our lovely mom’s. Have a Look.

I have made some quilling flower and die cut Butterfly and paste it on top of the box (Box Lid). I die cut three butterflies, First is distressed with Pickled raspberry, second is normal white and third is again distressed with squeezed lemon.Mother's Day EB-1 Mother's Day EB-2

This is center part of the box where i written ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ and decorated with Butterfly again and a light blue twine.

I also used Pink, Yellow cardstock for some sentiments for mothers to match with current Challenge rules. and i used watercolor paper and with distress ink i just put some drops and i partial die cut again for butterfly.

This is the back side of the box where i used embossing paste with some distress ink like pickled raspberry, squeezed lemonade, dried marigold, and victorian velvet to match with current Challenge rules.

Mother's Day EB-8 Mother's Day EB-9 I hope you liked this as much as our mom will. So once again ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ to all our lovely moms.
